How strong is the ironclad beetle?
How strong is the ironclad beetle?
The ironclad beetle is one of the strongest animals in the world. It can survive being run over by a car, attacked by predators and crushed by foot.
Now scientists have found the reason behind the near-indestructibility of the shell. The Ironclads interlocking exoskeleton is the key reason behind the shell. The interlocking sections resemble jigsaw-puzzle pieces. In experiments the scientists found this helped to stop stress and make the skeleton.
What is the Ironclad Beetle?
The Ironclad Beetle is found in wooded areas of the US west coast, the beetle is about 2 cm in length. Its wing covers, known as elytra, are not only hardened, but fused together. Most Ironclad beetles live for about seven or eight years.

Donald Trump to allow mining on the moon
and used by the U.S.
The permission may be used by 2024. This is when NASA aims to land two astronauts on the moon. Their aim is to establish a sustainable human presence by 2028. . mining the Moon will help humans travel further in space to places like Mars. .
The plan may be to use the Moon like a petrol station because it has the resources needed for rocket fuel like hydrogen and oxygen.

Marine Iguanas
The marine Iguana, the sea Iguana the saltwater Iguana or Galápagos marine iguana is a species of Iguana only found on Galápagos islands. That has a unique ability that no other modern lizards have they forage in the sea making it a marine reptile. This iguana feeds on mostly on algae and large males dive to find this food source while females and smaller males feed during low tide. They mainly live in colonies on rocky shores where they warm up after visiting the cold water but can also be seen in marshes and beaches. Some males defend territories to impress the female for a short time and other males have different ways. When the female need lay eggs they dig a hole in the ground. After a few months the eggs hatch on they own.
