Image result for marine Iguana The marine Iguana, the sea Iguana the saltwater Iguana or Galápagos marine iguana is a species of Iguana only found on Galápagos islands. That has a unique ability that no other modern lizards have they forage in the sea making it a marine reptile. This iguana feeds on mostly on algae and large males dive to find this food source while females and smaller males feed during low tide. They mainly live in colonies on rocky shores where they warm up after visiting the cold water but can also be seen in marshes and beaches. Some males defend territories to impress the female for a short time and other males have different ways. When the female need lay eggs they dig a hole in the ground. After a few months the eggs hatch on they own.
